I was at their concert last night and it was AMAZING! Loudest I’ve ever heard. The encore was ridiculous. They lowered down a gigantic disco ball and had these awesome lights and they played my favorite song that I had been waiting for allll night! It was perfection

I can’t get over it Vittoria I watched it over and pee my pants again Dan has a voice of an angel ….Jesus help me I will never forget this

Well that (The Jack White gig) was the best Fucking night ever!

The Jack White Blunderbuss release gig last night. And just, I had high expectations of Jack White but he somehow performed so much better than I imagined.

He was playing with his all female band “The Peacocks”, the setlist is as follows

  1. Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground (White Stripes)
  2. Freedom at 21
  3. Missing Pieces
  4. Love Interruption
  5. Top Yourself (Racontuers)
  6. Hotel Yorba (White Stripes)
  7. Hypocritical Kiss
  8. Weep Themselves to Sleep
  9. I’m Slowly Turning into You (White Stripes)
  10. Two Against One (Rome cover)
  11. We’re Going to be Friends (White Stripes)
  12. On and On and On
  13. Blue Blood Blues (Dead Weather, but with some crazy intro riff that was like from Screwdriver or something)
  14. Ball and Biscuit (White Stripes)

That was the main setlist, A perfect combo of his own stuff and White Stripes with 1 from Dead Weather and racontuers in there as well. Just every single song was so good, seeing Jack go crazy across the stage and the solos and the extended live parts to songs, Personal favourites were “Freedom at 21” “Hotel Yorba” and “I’m Slowly Turning into You” but they were only fractionally better than the rest every song, was unbelievable!

The Encore

  1. Sixteen Saltines
  2. Take Me With You When You Go
  3. My Doorbell (White Stripes)
  4. Carolina Drama (Racontuers)
  5. Seven Nation Army (White Stripes, with some small instrumental piece before it)
  6. Goodnight Irene (Leadbelly cover)

The fact he played 6 songs in the encore was phenomenal enough let alone that encore containing “Sixteen Saltines”, “My Doorbell” and “Seven Nation Army”. Sixteen Saltines was crazy the crowd went wild and he then mellowed it out with Take Me When You Go, with him on the piano, moving to guitar half way through and then playing My Doorbell on guitar which I was not expecting him to play at all and it absolutely blew me away. Carolina Drama was really nice too, played on Jacks Gibson L-1. Now Seven Nation Army… SO FUCKING GOOD, just after the little instrumental there was a pause before the brilliant sound of the first note of the Seven Nation Army riff, the crowd (me included) went nuts! and after the solo he stopped playing and the crowd was chanting the riff so decided to sing the next verse without playing his guitar, YES WE WERE JACK WHITES GUITAR!. And of course Goodnight Irene was pretty emotional, Jack got the crowd singing. Just the greatest night ever! and I’ve seen The Black Keys live so that’s saying something

80 WTH…six encore songs….. seven nation army….better than the black keys….(duh)

that must of been amazing.

No love lost

Whoa.
